Keller & Santi

Keller usually waits for me at the top of the stairs (Dave always says this) when I'm at work. Apparently she'll go to the top step right before I arrive home. It's funny how they sense those things, or know those things. Anyway, last night apparently Santi and Keller were too tired to go upstairs - they parked it in the front hallway and Lynn caught them patiently waiting for me.

We had a barfy dog yesterday morning too - Keller barfed about 6 times, two first in Lynn's guest room, two in mine, then two again in Lynn's; four of which turned out to be somewhat bloody and mucus-y. That was before Santi came over, so she took it easy for the rest of the morning and seemed to be fine later. I have no idea - probably something she ate - but I was worried we'd be taking a trip to the emergency vet!

I also have a funny video...see below. These two just go crazy over wanting the same toy and will do anything to get it. Lynn commented it was similar to speed skating (we've been watching a lot of Olympics).

Keller's Company

Keller has been having fun with Auntie Lynn while she's in town visiting. Auntie Lynn likes to play with Keller (and of course...Keller eats that up). We walked to the dog park today so Lynn could get her dog fix, and Keller was VERY tired when we got home. Tired enough to pass out comfortably on the couch, but not tired enough to not want to investigate Lynn's computer later. You an almost see Keller thinking, "How do I work this thing?"

Happy Puppy Face

Have I mentioned Keller loves the snow, and hikes we take her on in it? We have a very happy puppy. :)

New Bed

This is me and dad playing fetch in the snow. It's a new toy called a "Chuck It". We got so much new snow and mom wasn't very smart, so the next day, she took me outside to play with it, and on one of her first throws, it got lost in the snow. I'll sniff it out in the Spring.

Also, this is my new bed. I like my new bed. But I still like my old bed better, especially when mom and or dad are sleeping in it.

Keller + Snow = Love

With the roughly 8" of new snow from the last two days (seriously...it is STILL snowing...since Sunday late afternoon) I took Keller out back for a run this morning, then to the dog park at lunch. She absolutely loves this stuff. She and another lab chased each other like bats out of hell at the dog park.

Then...and where was my camera?...she started sniffing along the fence. Her head went under the snow and all you could see was a back and butt sticking up in the air as she navigated her way along the fence, snowplowing the snow over her head. Then she popped up and she looked like a powdered sugar puppy doughnut. :)

Doggie Playdate

Doggie Playdate Day!!! Santi and Keller. Oh, you two are just toooo perfect for each other. :)

Chewing Monster In The House

I was kind of hoping that when Keller turned 1 year old, all her chewing would magically disappear. This is just revenge for me thinking that. That's our couch cushion, by the way.
